Shopping in Ings

For petrol and everyday essentials (including bread, butter, wine and chocolate ie essentials) the filling station at Ings is the place to go.

Need logs for your  fire (by the sack or even dumpy bag) then it is Nick and Claire at Cosy Logs.

The nearest mainline station is Oxenholme the Lake District which is about 8 miles from the farm (and connected to the Windermere branch line).   Cars can be hired from Oxenholme in advance.  Travel time from Euston is about 2 hours 40 minutes.
